Zorn dinner in 19th century style

This dinner party is inspired by the 19th century dinner with recipes from  the mansion of Zorn´s kitchen. The dinner  is held in our room called The Artist. It is the same room that Anders and Emma Zorn used when visitors such as Karin and Carl Larsson, Selma Lagerlöf, Prins Eugen, August Strindberg, Erik Axel Karlfeldt, Albert Engström and Bruno Liljefors visited Mora. Sense the tide of history, you’ll explore new historic facts and gossip written by the hostess on the table settings.

Zorn menu 3 dishes

Starter

Vichyssoise,  Sauteed onions, root vegetable chips and sour cream

Main

Dala-gris – free range pig from Dalarna, Apple compote, root vegetables and gravy

Dessert

Pear cake, Lingonberry cream, roasted almonds, cognac marinated berries

Drink that was consumed and recommended, a bubbly Cremant, a heavy Bourdeaux  and a sweet dessert wine.

For groups of ten people or more.  Zorn Dinners are on a summer break and will return later tis autumn with a new concept.
