How do I get to Nusnäs and Dala horse painting?
Nils Olsson Hemslöjd has been making Dala horses in Nusnäs since 1928, and over the years it has become one of Dalarna’s most popular attractions. The horses are made from timber from the forests around Lake Siljan, with the entire process taking place on site. Nusnäs is 11 km from the hotel – about 20 minutes by car – and there are also regional buses. Just ask us at the hotel if you need help getting there.
