Dalarna is a rich tourist county and there are plenty of activities for families with children as well as culturally interested adults and you who are athletes. At Mora hotel you stay comfortably and with a high standard. Everything Dalarna has to offer is within easy reach of a day trip by car. The train and bus connections are good, and you are within walking distance of Mora station. In addition to activities, we are happy to suggest the beautiful environments that exist in the immediate area – from mountain pastures to waterfalls. Here in the immediate area are the fairytale land Tomteland, the concert arena Dalhalla, and the geologically interesting Siljan area. The village is permeated by folk music, which among other things is expressed in the Bingsj\u00f6 meeting.<\/p>\n\t

Vasaloppet<\/h2>\n

We have many guests who stay with us in connection with Vasaloppet’s events during summer and winter. In the summer it is Cykelvasan that attracts, and in the winter the classic ski race that attracts competitors from all over the world is decided. Tjejvasan is another event whose practitioners like to stay with us, busservice close for to the start of the morning.<\/p>\n\t

Art and art experiences<\/h2>\n

In Dalarna there are several great artists. Anders Zorn, known for the paintings of his valley hills, has been given a museum here in Mora. It is a popular destination that attracts both national and international guests. A little further away, in Falun, is the Carl Larsson farm where the artist couple Karin and Carl Larsson lived. This is also a museum.<\/p>\n\t

Downhill skiing and mountain biking in Gesunda<\/h2>\n

For those who likes action<\/h3>\n

Bring slalom skis or snowboards and book skiing on the nice slopes in Gesunda, which in summer also offers fast-paced downhill with mountain bike. You can also enjoy downhill skiing in Gr\u00f6nklitt in Orsa, Romme Alpin in Borl\u00e4nge and the whole of S\u00e4len is available with several ski resorts.<\/p>\n
